Woman Seriously Injured in 2-Car Accident on Park Village Road in Rancho Peasquitos
61-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Rancho Peasquitos Crash on Park Village Road and Black Mountain Road

Rancho Peasquitos, California (June 16, 2019) – A 61-year-old woman was seriously injured Sunday morning in a two-car accident in Rancho Peasquitos, according to police.
The crash happened at around 9:40 a.m. on Park Village Road and Black Mountain Road.
Police said a 23-year-old man was driving a Hyundai Elantra southbound on Black Mountain Road when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a Toyota Corolla that was heading eastbound on Park Village Road.
The 61-year-old woman, who was in the Toyota, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was immediately unclear whether the Hyundai driver was also hurt in the crash.
It’s undetermined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the wreck. Police are investigating the accident.
