Woman Killed in Panola County Car Accident on State Highway Identified
Keonna Horner Killed in Car Crash on State Highway 315 in Panola County
Panola County, Texas – The authorities have identified a woman who was killed in a two-car crash that happened on Monday evening in Panola County.
The deadly collision was reported at around 3:23 p.m. on April 20, on State Highway 315.
According to the police, 34-year-old Keonna Horner was driving a Kia westbound of SH 315 when for unknown reasons, she drifted across the center line and collided head-on with a Toyota Sequoia driven by Brian Coles, 71.
Horner sustained major injuries in the crash and was rushed to UT Health-Carnage where she died while undergoing treatment.
Cole was also transported to UT Health-Carnage with unspecified injuries.
Sean Coles, 39, a Houston resident, and an 11-year-old male passenger were also taken to UT Health – Carthage with non-life threatening injuries.
No further information about the accident was provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
