Yoseline Vega Killed in Ceres Car Accident at Sam Avenue and Herndon Road
Ceres, California (June 17, 2019) – A 10-year-old girl who was hospitalized after a crash that left her three other family members dead on June 9 in Ceres has succumbed to her injuries.
The fatal collision occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. June 9, at the duplex in the 1200 block of Sam Avenue and Herndon Avenue.
Authorities said a sport utility vehicle driven by 46-year-old Felix Ferdin of Modesto crashed into the family’s duplex home.
Yoseline Vega Dies Days after Fatal Ceres Car Crash
Mari Luz Jacinto Hernandez, 38, and her three daughters, who were in the house at the time, were rushed to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. Hernandez and her two daughters, Eileen Lopez, and 3-year-old Alexa Sanchez, were sadly pronounced dead at the hospital.
10-year-old Yoseline Vega was listed in critical condition. Authorities said Vega succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, June 15.
Ferdin is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The investigation is ongoing.
