Man Injured in Prundale Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near San Miguel Canyon Road Friday

Prundale, California (June 16, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday evening in a traffic accident in Prundale, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 9:16 p.m. Friday, June 14 on Highway 101 near San Miguel Canyon Road.
As per the CHP report, a man was riding his motorcycle on the northbound lanes of SR-101 when for an unknown reason, he rear-ended an Audi A6. The force of the impact caused the ride to lose control of the bike and crashed into the center median of the freeway.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the motorcycle rider lying down on the roadway. The name and condition of the victim at this time remain unknown.
Information about the driver of the Audi was not immediately disclosed.
Authorities are still investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
