Woman Dies in Concord Crash on Highway 4 near Willow Pass Road
Concord, California (August 7, 2020) – A woman was killed in a traffic accident involving a big rig in Concord early Friday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened at around 6:10 a.m. on state Highway 4, just east of Willow Pass Road.
The CHP said a maroon Honda Accord, driven by the woman, was heading eastbound on state Highway 4 when, for unknown reasons, it collided with a big rig near the Concord side of Willow Pass Road.

Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the driver of the Honda dead at the scene. Her name has not been diclosed pending notification of family.
The big rig driver was uninjured in the crash.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
