Crystal Mora ID’d as Woman Killed in Sacramento County Pedestrian Crash on Highway 50

Sacramento County, California (August 7, 2020) – Crystal Mora, 37, of Sacramento, has been identified as the woman who was hit and killed by two cars on Thursday morning in Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
At about 4:30 a.m., on August 6, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident on Highway 50, west of the county line.
The CHP said Mora was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when, for unknown reasons, she veered off the highway and rolled down a steep embankment.
Mora reportedly exited the car, walked up the embankment, and was struck by two vehicles in the westbound lanes while crossing the freeway.

Mora was declared dead at the crash site.
Both drivers stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
