Woman Dies after Wasco Accident on Blankenship Avenue near Leonard Avenue
Wasco, California (February 16, 2021) – A woman was killed in a rollover accident on Friday night in Wasco, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred at about 7:45 p.m., on February 12, on Blankenship Avenue near Leonard Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2006 Toyota Scion, driven by the woman, was headed westbound on Blankenship Avenue approaching Leonard Avenue when it drifted onto a private farm’s dirt driveway.
The vehicle then continued driving several feet across the property, over a dirt berm and into a field, where it flipped over at least once and landed on its roof, the officials said.

Sadly, the woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
