Minor Injuries Sustained in Richmond Accident on Interstate 80 near Hilltop Drive Off-Ramp
Richmond, California (February 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday morning in Richmond, resulting in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided at about 6:06 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just east of Hilltop Drive off-ramp.
A party called authorities reporting that another car crashed into their vehicle for unknown reasons. The reporting party was not hurt.
Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of the patients, however, was not mentioned.
Traffic flow was affected in the area following the accident until at about 7:00 a.m.
An investigation to establish the cause of the crash is ongoing.
