Woman Seriously Injured in Pickup Truck Accident on Madison Avenue in Carmichael
43-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Carmichael Crash on Madison Avenue near Dewey Drive
Carmichael, California (February 16, 2021) – A 43-year-old woman was killed in a Monday afternoon traffic accident in Carmichael, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:15 p.m., on February 15, on Madison Avenue near Dewey Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge Ram ran a red light while turning northbound onto Dewey Drive from eastbound Madison Avenue and struck a Toyota Highlander that was headed westbound on Madison Avenue.
Woman Killed in Crash on Madison Avenue
Sadly, the 43-year-old woman sustained major injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital for treatment. She was the driver of the Highlander.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
