Woman Killed in Irwindale Car Accident on 605 Freeway near Ramona Boulevard
Irwindale, California (July 5, 2020) – A 19-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision in Irwindale on Saturday night.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 10:48 p.m. July 4, on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway near Ramona Boulevard.
The woman was driving a Nissan sedan the wrong-way when she collided head-on with a FedEx big rig. The Nissan was wedged underneath the big rig after the collision.

The unidentified woman was killed in the accident.
The truck driver, a 42-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The collision block all southbound lanes of the freeway.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
