Justin Leath and old Tori Haywood Killed in Palmdale Car Crash at 90th Street and Palmdale Boulevard
Sierra Ladet, Tyzjon Ladet, Tre Ladet and Tyjhai Ladet Injured in Fatal Palmdale Car Crash on Palmdale Boulevard near 80th Street East
Palmdale, California (July 5, 2020) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Palmdale on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of 90th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard at about 6:25 p.m. July 2.
20-year-old Justin Leath of Palmdale was driving a 2014 Hyundai eastbound on Palmdale Boulevard when it collided head-on with a Toyota driven by 43-year-old Tori Ann Haywood.
2 Killed in Palmdale Car Accident on Palmdale Boulevard
A 2021 Hyundai, driven by Tia Perkins, 21, of McMinnville, was also involved in the accident.
Leath and Haywood were killed in the accident.
Tyjhai Ladet, Sierra Ladet, Tyzjon Ladet and Tre Lamar Ladet, all aged 18 and who were passengers in the Toyota, were injured in the accident and were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
20-year-old M.N. Ankenbrandt, who was a passenger in the Hyundai was also hospitalized with major injuries.
Perkins was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
