3 Injured in Car Crash on Clinton Avenue near Maple Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, California (July 5, 2020) – A woman was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Fresno on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Clinton Avenue near Maple Avenue.
The police said a Cadillac was traveling eastbound on Clinton Avenue when it allegedly ran a red light and struck a Ford Fusion that was traveling northbound on Maple.
The impact of the collision caused the Ford Fusion to spin and hit a black truck on Maple.
3 Hurt in Car Accident on Clinton Avenue in Fresno
The female driver of the Ford Fusion was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Two other people in the truck were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
