Woman Dies in Sacramento Crash on El Camino Avenue and Clay Street
Sacramento, California (May 17, 2021) – A woman was killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred near El Camino Avenue and Clay Street in Sacramento on Saturday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. May 15.
Police responded to the incident and found a woman with major injuries lying on the roadway.
Paramedics also responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Police said a driver is believed to have fled from the scene after striking the pedestrian.
A search is underway for the driver.
