Desert Center, CA: 1 Airlifted after Big Rig, Car Collide on I-10
1 Injured in Desert Center Truck Accident on Interstate 10 Freeway at Red Cloud Road

Desert Center, California (May 16, 2021) – One person was airlifted to a hospital following a traffic crash in Desert Center Friday night, authorities said.
At about 7:40 p.m. Friday, May 14, emergency crews responded to the Interstate 10 Freeway at Red Cloud Road to investigate the report of a truck collision.
According to the authorities, a passenger car collided with a semi-truck for unknown reasons on Interstate 10 Freeway.
One person was trapped in the damaged car and had to be extricated by firefighters. The patient was then flown to a hospital in an unknown condition.
The driver of the semi-truck did not suffer any injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
