Sacramento County, CA: Head-On Collision at Scott and White Rock Roads
1 Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Scott Road and White Rock Road
Sacramento County, California (May 16, 2021) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a head-on crash at an intersection in Sacramento County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident was reported at around 4:42 p.m. Friday, May 14, at the intersection of Scott Road and White Rock Road, near Folsom.
A Ford F-450 pickup truck collided head-on with a silver Mazda sedan at the Sacramento County intersection, the CHP report states.
As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles overturned. The Mazda sustained front-end damage and lost its front wheel.
One patient was taken to UC Davis Medical Center with lacerations and moderate injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately available.
The intersection of Scott and White Rock was closed during the investigation.
