Santa Rosa, California (February 21, 2020) – The Sonoma County Sheriff’s office has released the name of the victim who died following a pedestrian accident that took place in the area of Santa Rosa at about 8:07 p.m. on February 20.

The fatal pedestrian accident took place on Thursday night along A Street near the westbound off-ramp to Third Street near the Santa Rosa Plaza.

As per the report, 45-year-old Noah Stepanoff of Santa Rosa was struck by a burgundy Nissan Maxima driven by Alejandra Rangel Valencia of Petaluma for unknown reasons. Due to the impact of the collision, Noah Stepanoff was pinned under the vehicle.

The initial report indicated that Valencia was exiting the mall parking garage via the off-ramp to Third Street at A Street at the time of the collision.

Stepanoff was extricated from the wreckage by emergency crews who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck. It was not mentioned why Stepanoff was on the road during the occurrence of the accident.

Sadly, Stepanoff was declared deceased at the crash site.

Meanwhile, Valencia remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
