Man Seriously Injured in Ventura Pedestrian Crash on Ventura Avenue near Comstock Drive
Ventura, California (January 5, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Friday evening in west Ventura.
According to the Ventura police, the incident occurred at about 5:40 p.m. January 4 on Ventura Avenue, just south of Comstock Drive.
Police said the 60-year-old man was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a vehicle traveling south on Ventura Avenue.
The victim, who was not immediately identified by the police, was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with serious injuries.
No details were provided on the driver of the vehicle involved.
The Ventura Police Department is investigating the crash.
