Selma, California (January 8, 2021) – A truck driver was seriously injured in a car accident that happened on Highway 99 in Kingsburg on Wednesday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 99 near Bethel Avenue at about 4 p.m. January 6.
A big rig was traveling on the roadway when it flipped for unknown reasons. The truck came to rest across both lanes of traffic.
The truck driver was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
The authorities temporarily closed the roadway as the scene was cleared.
