Major Injuries Sustained in Thousand Oaks Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101 near Wendy Drive On-Ramp
Thousand Oaks, California (February 8, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major injury motorcycle accident that happened Friday afternoon on a highway in Thousand Oaks, resulting in major injuries.
Authorities responded to southbound Highway 101, where Wendy Drive on-ramp ends to find a blue motorcycle and a gray SUV that had collided just before 2 p.m.
The motorcyclist was lying down in the traffic lanes.
Authorities said major injuries were sustained in the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene to offer medical aid and transport the victims to the hospital.
Both the motorcycle and the SUV were towed away from the crash scene. The SUV acquired right-rear damage.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
