Thomas Lazansky Injured in Lake Berryessa Motorcycle Accident on Highway 128 near Greaves Road
Napa County, California (May 21, 2021) – 67-year-old Thomas Lazansky was injured after being involved in a deadly motorcycle accident near Lake Berryessa in Napa CountyWednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, on Highway 128, just east of Greaves Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, Daniel Snyder, 68, of Rio Vista, was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson on Highway 128 when, for undetermined reasons, he allowed his bike to cross over the double yellow center lines into the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming truck that was hauling a trailer.
Snyder, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lazansky, who was the driver of the truck, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Highway 128 was closed in both directions for two and a half hours following the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
