Sebastopol, California (May 21, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident that happened Friday morning in Sebastopol.

According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in the crash that happened at around 8:21 a.m. on westbound Occidental Road near Highway 116.

CHP said a motorcycle and at least one car collided under unclear circumstances.

Three ambulances were dispatched to the scene to provide medical aid to the parties involved in the crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not clear if there were parties who were injured in the accident.

Officers closed Occidental Road at Highway 116 and High School Road following the incident.

The motorcycle was towed away with a missing front wheel.

CHP is investigating the wreck.
