Taran San ID’d as Long Beach Man Killed in Victorville Crash on I-15 near Dale Evans Parkway
Victorville, California (October 27, 2019) – The man who was killed in a crash involving big rigs earlier this month in Victorville has been identified as Taran San, 30, of Victorville, according to the CHP.
The crash happened just before midnight on Thursday, October 17, on I-15, south of Dale Evans Parkway.
CHP said a 30-year-old Adelanto man was driving a 2020 Freightliner with a trailer southbound on I-15 when he failed to stop for traffic ahead and rear-ended a 1999 Toyota 4Runner.
The impact pushed the Toyota into the back of another semi that was traveling in front of it.

San, who was the driver of the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene.
All southbound lanes of I-15 were shut down temporarily as officials cleared the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
