1 Killed, 1 Injured in Santa Clara Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 9 at Redwood Gulch Road
Santa Clara County, California (October 27, 2019) – One person was killed and another injured in a traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle in the rural area of Santa Clara County on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the fatal collision happened at around 5:50 p.m. on October 26, along state Highway 9 at Redwood Gulch Road three miles west of Saratoga.

The accident involved a four-door sedan and a motorcycle which collided on the highway for unknown reasons.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another one hurt as a result of the crash. The CHP did not confirm whether the deceased was riding the motorcycle or was in the four-door sedan.
The crash resulted in the closure of both directions of Highway 9 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. as the CHP investigated the wreck.
