South San Francisco, CA: At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash on Highway 101

South San Francisco, California (June 25, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that took place Thursday afternoon in South San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the incident occurred at around 6:26 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of Oyster Point Boulevard on-ramp.

The crash involved a black Honda Civic and another unknown vehicle.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash and an ambulance was sent to the scene to take them to the hospital.

The Honda Civic was towed away with a broken right rear tire.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
