El Cajon, California (June 25, 2021) – At least one person was severely hurt in a head-on collision involving a casino bus Thursday evening in El Cajon, the California Highway Patrol said.

The accident was reported at around 7:26 p.m. on 2716 Dehesa Road

The report said a casino bus collided head-on with a gray vehicle under unclear circumstances.

At least one person sustained major injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.

The bus was leaking oil into the roadway and the right-hand shoulder.

Hazmat crew was requested to respond to the scene to help clean up the scene.

CHP is investigating the collision.
