Person Seriously Injured in Sonoma Pedestrian Accident at Broadway and Andrieux Street
Sonoma, California (April 25, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle last week on Saturday night at a Sonoma intersection, according to a local news source.
The major injury pedestrian accident happened at around 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in front of Hopmonk Tavern on Broadway and Andrieux Street.
As per the report, the pedestrian and her dog were in the crosswalk near the center divider when they were hit by a vehicle that was heading southbound on Broadway after leaving a nearby gas station.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. His name and current condition were not disclosed.
The dog died at the scene of the accident.
The man driving the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
