2 Men Killed in Bakersfield Car Crash on Golden State Highway and Q Street
Bakersfield, California (April 25, 2021) – A car crash has claimed the lives of two men Saturday evening in Central Bakersfield, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle crash happened at around 6:12 p.m. Saturday, April 24, on Golden State Highway and Q Street.
According to the authorities, a vehicle crashed head-on into a pillar along the highway.
Both the driver and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been disclosed.
It was not immediately clear if intoxication played a role in the accident.
