Shawn Hart Killed in Car Accident on River Road near Trenton-Healdsburg Road in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, California (October 14, 2020) – The Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car crash in Santa Rosa on Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on River Road near Trenton-Healdsburg Road on October 11.
49-year-old Shawn Hart had been driving a gray Hyundai when he lost control and veered off the roadway before crashing into a tree on a rural property.
Hart was ejected from the vehicle.
The vehicle was discovered at about 4:30 p.m. by the property owner who saw a damaged mailbox near the scene.
Hart was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
