Man Injured in Oildale Scooter Crash on Roberts Lane
Oildale, California (October 14, 2020) – A man was seriously injured in a collision involving an electric scooter in Oildale early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened on Roberts Lane.
The authorities said the man was riding an electric scooter in a bike lane on Roberts Lane when he rode into the street and was struck by a passing Honda.
The man suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Honda was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
