Sean Hufford Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 33 in Ventura County
Sean Hufford ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Ventura County Crash on Highway 33 near Berges Creek

Ventura County, California (April 26, 2021) – The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Bureau has identified the motorcyclist who died following a Saturday afternoon collision near Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County as Sean P. Hufford, 43, of Frazier Park.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:50 p.m. Saturday, April 24, on Highway 33, just south of Berges Creek.
According to the authorities, Hufford was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson southbound on Highway 33 at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, he swerved to the right and rolled several times down a dirt embankment.
As the motorcycle was overturning, Hufford was ejected from the bike. Hufford and his motorcycle came to a stop approximately 60 feet west of the roadway.
Hufford was transported via a helicopter to Ventura County Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It is undetermined whether intoxication played a role in the accident.
The southbound lane of Highway 33 was shut down for nearly one hour following the wreck.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
