Santa Maria, California (June 16, 2021) – A Santa Maria crash involving a silver Chevrolet SUV and a red Honda sedan Sunday evening injured at least one person.

The hit-and-run car collision was reported just about 7:20 p.m., June 13, on the northbound side of the highway near Palmer Road.

The California Highway Patrol affirmed a driver of a third vehicle that was possibly involved in the crash fled the scene after the accident.

As per the report, at least one unidentified person sustained injuries following the wreck.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove both wrecked vehicles away from the crash site.

The CHP is still investigating to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
