At Least 1 Hospitalized after Santa Clarita Car Accident on 14 Freeway (Antelope Valley Freeway) near Golden Valley Road
Santa Clarita, California (July 20, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized Sunday evening after a traffic accident on 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, on 14 Freeway near Golden Valley Road. 14 Freeway is also known as Antelope Valley Freeway.
Two vehicles collided on the freeway for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles flipped onto its roof upon the impact.
Car Crash on Antelope Valley Freeway in Santa Clarita Results in Injuries
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the injured parties. At least one patient was then taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
Northbound 14 Freeway was closed for a short period following the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
