Woman Injured in Santa Clara Crash on Cabrillo Avenue at Calabazas Boulevard

Santa Clara, California (February 9, 2020) – A woman was injured in an auto-pedestrian collision on Saturday afternoon in Santa Clara, according to a police report.
The crash happened just before 4:40 p.m. February 8, on Cabrillo Avenue at Calabazas Boulevard.
According to Santa Clara police, the elderly woman was struck by a Toyota sedan traveling westbound on Cabrillo Avenue.
Woman Hospitalized after Santa Clara Pedestrian Collision
The victim was transported to a hospital with significant injuries. Her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash, according to the police report.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision.
