Father, Daughter Injured in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Crash on State Street and Yanonali Street
Santa Barbara, California (October 21, 2019) – A father and his daughter were hit and injured by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Santa Barbara.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian crash happened at about 3 p.m. October 20, on the lower State Street and Yanonali Street.
A father and his two-year-old daughter were trying to cross the street when they were hit by a Jaguar. The car dragged the child underneath for approximately 20 to 30 feet.
Father and Daughter Hospitalized after Santa Barbara Crash
Fire crews responded to the incident and attended to the two victims. The victims were then transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with unknown injuries.
The identities of the victims and the driver of the Jaguar were not released.
The Santa Barbara Police Department is investigating the crash.
