Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Ana Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway near Broadway
Santa Ana, California (February 1, 2021) – An investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon on a freeway in Santa Ana.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided at about 5:45 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Broadway.
Authorities responded to the scene to find a Jeep, a white sedan, and a third vehicle involved in the crash blocking traffic lanes.
An unknown number of parties suffered minor injuries in the collision, as per the report.
Several traffic lanes were closed as emergency crews worked the scene.
