San Leandro, California (March 31, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in San Leandro, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 7:19 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, on State Route 185 at Elgin Street, the CHP reported.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for an unknown reason at the intersection.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the pedestrian who sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
It was not immediately known if the pedestrian was taken to the hospital for further treatment. The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
Authorities said the intersection has traffic lights and crosswalks in all four directions.
The accident remains under investigation.
