Minor Injuries Sustained in Lakeside Car Crash at Marilla Drive and Woodside Avenue
Lakeside, California (March 31, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened Tuesday evening in Lakeside, resulting in minor injuries.
Three vehicles collided at around 6:17 p.m. at the intersection of Marilla Drive and Woodside Avenue, blocking the roadway.
A party reporting the accident said several parties got out of one of the cars and attempted to assault a male party who had kids in one of the other vehicles.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims. The firefighters said minor injuries were sustained in the crash but did not mention the number of patients.
The report said at least one of the vehicles fled the scene after the accident.
Towing services were needed to remove at least one of the cars from the scene.
