Major Injuries Sustained in Highway 85 Motorcycle Crash in San Jose
San Jose, California (February 13, 2020) – San Jose firefighters responded to a major injury motorcycle accident that happened Thursday morning on Highway 85.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 6:50 a.m. in the northbound lanes, just south of Cottle Road.
According to the report, a motorcycle collided with a white Chevrolet Volt for unknown reasons.
The rider was found conscious lying on the ground in the center divider. The motorcycle was down in the No. 1 lane.
Firefighters said major injuries were sustained in the crash.
Authorities said there was a separate traffic collision near the scene of the first crash but did not give more details.
CHP is investigating the accident.
