Man Critically Hurt, Woman Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash at San Carlos Street and Brooklyn Avenue

San Jose, California (February 23, 2020) – According to a local news source, a woman died, and a male party sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Saturday night.
The fatal pedestrian collision took place on February 22 at the intersection of San Carlos Street and Brooklyn Avenue.
As per the report, the two pedestrians were crossing the intersection inside a designated crosswalk when they were hit by a 2018 Ford Focus driven by a female party at about 7:00 p.m.

The two victims were hospitalized after the wreck. The female party later died at the hospital while undergoing treatment. Officials said the male patient was listed in critical condition.

The Focus motorist stopped after hitting the pedestrians and cooperated with the law.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident.
