60-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 54th Street
San Diego, California (January 2, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday night traffic accident that left a 60-year-old female pedestrian seriously injured in San Diego.
The major injury pedestrian accident happened at about 11:07 p.m., on January 1, in the 2000 block of 54th Street.
According to the police, the woman was struck by a vehicle that was southbound in the No. 1 southbound lane.

The woman suffered a traumatic brain injury and several other serious injuries. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The involved driver fled the scene.
