46-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Sherman Heights Pedestrian Crash on Market Street
Sherman Heights, California (January 2, 2021) – A 46-year-old man was hit and injured by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday morning in the Sherman Heights area of San Diego, authorities said.
The pedestrian accident happened at about 3:35 a.m. in the 2000 block of Market Street.
According to the officials, the man was crossing southbound when a westbound minivan struck him.

The man was hospitalized with a broken right femur.
The involved driver fled the scene. The vehicle that allegedly hit the 46-year-old man was described as a white or silver 2005 to 2010 Toyota Sienna.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
