Woman Killed, 1 Hospitalized after Jurupa Valley Car Crash at Rubidoux Boulevard and 26th Street

Jurupa Valley, California (January 2, 2021) – A woman died, and two others were injured when two vehicles collided Friday afternoon in Jurupa Valley, a local news source reported.
As per the article, the broadside collision happened at about 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Rubidoux Boulevard and 26th Street.
The Riverside County Fire Department said a Jeep Cherokee was broadsided by a BMW at the intersection for unknown reasons.
The driver of the Jeep, only identified as a woman, was found unresponsive, trapped in her car by first responders who extricated her and performed life-saving measures, then rushed her to the hospital. Unfortunately, the victim died of her injuries.
A passenger in the Jeep was ejected from the car and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The driver of the BMW was also trapped in their vehicle and was freed and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, the report added.
Authorities said it remained unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
