2 Hospitalized after San Diego Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 8 near Morena Boulevard
San Diego, California (January 18, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a traffic collision on Interstate 8 near Old Town in San Diego, according to authorities.
The accident took place at around 7:35 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8, just east of Morena Boulevard.
Authorities said a motorcycle and six vehicles were involved in the collision.
The motorcycle rider was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest and a second person was also transported to the hospital. According to the CHP, at least one of the patients sustained major injuries.
The names of the patients and their condition at this time remained unknown.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
