At Least 1 Injured in 8 Freeway Collision near College Avenue in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 6, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major traffic collision that happened Saturday night on 8 Freeway in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at about 10:54 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway between College Avenue and Waring Road.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the accident. The report did not mention the manner in which the crash occurred.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the patient to the hospital.
