San Clemente, CA: Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Car Thursday Night
1 Hospitalized after San Clemente Pedestrian Accident near Camino Mira Costa and Camino De Estrella
San Clemente, California (October 25, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident that happened Thursday night near an intersection in San Clemente, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash occurred at about 8:17 p.m. in the area of Camino Mira Costa and Camino De Estrella.
According to Lt. Wayne Rehnelt of OCSD, one person was hit and injured by a car while crossing the street.
The pedestrian sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to the hospital.
It was not clear if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
The driver of the car involved stopped and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the accident is in progress.
