Salyer, California (July 23, 2021) – A rider sustained major injuries following a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening in Salyer, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP responded to the crash site just before 9:00 p.m., on July 21, along State Route 299 at Suzy Q Road.

As per the CHP dispatch, the accident involved a motorcycle and possibly another vehicle.

The rider reportedly hit a deer along Highway 299 in the process.

Paramedics responded to the crash site and attended to the motorcyclist who had sustained major injuries.

Officials said an individual involved in the mishap possibly left the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
