Sacramento, California (September 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Monday morning at an intersection in Sacramento, according to authorities.
The deadly pedestrian accident was reported at about 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Roseville Road and Marconi Circle.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver involved did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
A section of Roseville Road was closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
