Minor Injuries Sustained in Highway 99 Collision near Fruitridge Road Off-Ramp in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (May 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday morning in Sacramento, resulting in minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup was reported at around 6:40 a.m. on Highway 99, just south of Fruitridge Road off-ramp.
The report said six vehicles were involved in the collision.
At least one person involved in the accident sustained minor injuries and required medical attention. An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid to the patient.
The cause and manner of the wreck remained unknown at the time of the report, but authorities are investigating.
