1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 118 near Erringer Road in Simi Valley
Simi Valley, California (May 13, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Simi Valley on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s Moorpark office, the accident happened at about 7:20 a.m. on Highway 118 near Erringer Road.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
CHP said at least one person sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The collision blocked both directions of the highway.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
