Minor Injuries Sustained in Willows Crash on Interstate 5 near Road 68 Off-Ramp
Willows, California (May 13, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision involving a gas tanker Thursday morning in Willows, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on Interstate 5, near the Road 68 off-ramp.
A party who witnessed the accident told authorities that a minivan hit the gas tanker for unknown reasons.
First responders found both vehicles on the right-hand shoulder.
The report said only minor injuries were sustained in the crash. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims.
The minivan was towed away with front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the crash.
